The brief
The owners had added a large glazed extension and wanted the garden to match it: a terrace big enough for eight, a usable lawn, and very little maintenance.
The challenge
A gentle but awkward fall across the width of the garden, a soakaway that had failed, and a tight programme before a family celebration.
What we did
We levelled the garden into two planes: a porcelain terrace at the house and a lawn beyond, linked by broad steps. New drainage runs beneath the terrace, and evergreen hedging gives structure all year.
