Garden design & build
A garden designed around how the house is lived in, then built by the people who drew it.
We start with the site: levels, soil, light, views and how you move between house and garden. From there we develop a concept, then planting plans and construction drawings. The same team then builds it, so nothing is lost between the drawing and the ground.

Read the site
Where the sun falls through the day, where the ground holds water, what you see from the kitchen window. The garden follows from that.

Design for use
Where you eat, where the children play, where you sit with a coffee at seven in the morning. Each space is sized for what happens in it.

Build it properly
Sub-bases, drainage and foundations done to last. The parts you never see are the reason the parts you do see stay right.

Questions we're often asked
Do I need a design before you can quote?
For a whole garden, yes. A design lets us price exactly what will be built, rather than guess. For smaller, well-defined pieces of work we can often quote from the first visit.
How long does a garden take to build?
Most whole gardens take between four and twelve weeks on site, depending on size and groundwork. You will have a written programme before we start.
Can you work with my own garden designer?
Yes. We regularly build to other designers' plans and are happy to work alongside your designer from the start.
